Our Story
We are a pair of friends working together and our aim is to produce the finest quality British bred buckfast queen bees in our home county of Devon.

Kasper
Since I can remember, I've had a passion for nature and gardening. I always wanted to keep bees.
Unfortunately, I never met my grandfather but I loved to listen to the stories about him beekeeping and skep weaving. In 2013 with the help of my dad I bought my first hive.
In the same year, I started to study beekeeping at college in East Poland where I spent 4 years learning about
bees. After that I specialised in working in apiaries that were focused on queen rearing as well as honey production in Poland, Austria and Germany. I also kept my own bees in Poland with the help of my dad who was learning beekeeping alongside me.
In 2017, I moved to the UK and started working at a bee farm in Devon. I've lived in Devon since then. I'am now focused on running North Devon Queens with Matt, doing some part time gardening and working for National Bee Supplies.
Matt
Matt was born and bred in North Devon and from a young age
has always loved being outdoors. If he is not tending to his hives he can be found fishing on one of the local rivers.
When Matt moved to a small village near South Molton roughly ten years ago, he was fortunate to meet a knowledgeable and experienced beekeeper who introduced him
to the joy of keeping bees.
Matt was immediately fascinated by bees and became a keen hobbyist who within a couple of years had over twenty hives. As his love of beekeeping grew, Matt made the decision to leave his job and work for a large commercial honey farm which is where he met Kasper.
Matt has carried his passion for breeding fish into his work as a beekeeper and particularly enjoys rearing queens.
